Community leaders team up with young people from across South Florida who are calling for change
By turns serious and witty, the woman who transformed cooking, gardening, crafting, organizing and decorating into lofty pursuits told a group of Miami female leaders to embrace change, however it arrives.
“Sue has been a 40-year volunteer at United Way. She started by literally walking door to door on Miami Beach, inviting people to give money to United Way,” said Claudia Grillo.
Rudy Moise was a 20-year-old pre-med student in Chicago at the University of Illinois when he decided to help an elder.
