 Without you, we can't help those in need. This month, United Way Miami launched its annual community fundraising campaign. The organization funds over 100 programs in the community because everyone should have access to quality education and the opportunity to lead healthy and financially secure lives in a thriving and equitable community. Meet United Way Miami’s 2022-23 Annual Campaign Co-chairs and Cabinet Co-chairing the United Way Miami annual community fundraising campaign are Felipe Basulto, Cristian LaCapra and Ana VeigaMilton, dedicated volunteers and longstanding supporters. Every year, the campaign invites over 250 workplaces and their employees, and thousands of individual contributors to build a stronger Miami, together.
Did you know? For every $1 you give, United Way Miami more than doubles the impact of your giving. With a donation of $100, we are able to provide diapers for five infants and toddlers for 10 days.
 Financial Hardship Among People with Disabilities National report reveals that federal poverty data undercounts how many people with disabilities are living in financial hardship – nearly 68 percent of people with disabilities in Miami-Dade County are struggling to afford the basics, while traditional measures of poverty found that only 23.5 percent were living in poverty at that time.  ONLY A FEW CABINS LEFT: Cruise for a Cause to Support United Way United Way Miami and Virgin Voyages have teamed up to launch the Cruise for a Cause promotion to raise funds to improve access to education, financial stability and health services in Miami-Dade County. For a limited time, you can acquire a cruise for two on board Scarlet Lady by purchasing a cabin through United Way Miami. Come aboard, your one-of-a-kind adventure awaits.
