Striving to enhance and support community programming and outreach services throughout Miami-Dade County is a critical component of United Way Miami’s mission and purpose. With our campaign season in full swing, we are confident that United Way will experience another successful year of philanthropic giving in efforts to continue building a better Miami for all.
UpSkill Miami, our transformative workforce fund, is on an upward trajectory as we look to expand its reach in partnership with organizations that provide training in construction trades.
As we begin the fall season together, please stay connected and learn about United Way Miami’s many community events and volunteer opportunities. This season is an excellent time of year to reflect on all we are grateful for and how we can impact our neighborhoods and communities.
As we confidently look towards the future of United Way Miami’s upcoming centennial year, I know, that together, we can continue to create impactful change for those who need it most.

United Way Miami's Support for Israel and Our Community
|
In times of crisis, United Way Miami's commitment to unity during adversity becomes even more vital. The ongoing events in the Middle East are deeply devastating, and we extend our heartfelt support to the people of Israel and all those affected.
We are working closely with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and the Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) to extend our full support, including financial assistance, to meet the rising demand for their essential services during these trying times. United Way condemns violence and terrorism in all forms, as they only deepen humanity's wounds. Our hearts are with our community, and we stand in solidarity with the people of Israel.
For mental health support during these challenging times, please call JCS 211 Miami by dialing 2-1-1. To learn more about the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s efforts in Israel, click here.
