AMERANT BANK 5K BRINGS TOGETHER OVER 500 RUNNERS & WALKERS TO BENEFIT UNITED WAY MIAMI
Proceeds from the Race Benefitted United Way Miami and Its Continuous Efforts to Strengthen the Community
MIAMI, FL (May 17, 2022) On Saturday, May 14 Amerant Bank hosted United Way Miami’s 11th annual 5k event in Coral Gables. Over 500 runners, walkers, families and fitness enthusiasts alike came together to support United Way Miami’s mission to build a stronger Miami for all. The Amerant Bank 5K took place outside of Coral Gables City Hall.
In partnership with Agency 44, known for producing iconic races such as the Miami Marathon, the morning kicked off with a pre-race warm-up led by 54D coaches, Rodrigo De Ovando and Luis Calderon followed by a five-kilometer run/walk through the beautiful tree-lined streets of Coral Gables. Volunteers lined the streets to encourage runners and offer snacks and water. After the race, participants enjoyed a festive post-race celebration with fun activities, music, food and refreshments thanks to all the Amerant Bank 5K sponsors.
