100 YEARS OF SERVICE CONTINUES AS UNITED WAY MIAMI LAUNCHES ITS ANNUAL CAMPAIGN – WE’RE HERE
2024-2025 Annual Community Campaign Elevates 187,000 Lives Throughout Miami-Dade County through its Core Four Pillars
MIAMI (September 11, 2024) — United Way Miami, one of the leading and longest-standing non-profits in South Florida, today launches its 2024-2025 annual community campaign, We’re HERE. The annual community campaign aims to engage corporate partners and their employees, as well as the public, and invite them to contribute to United Way Miami’s mission of improving the quality of life for all, by bringing together people and resources committed to building a better community. Today, the organization is also introducing a renewed focus and refreshed brand highlighting the Core Four pillars – Health & Wellbeing, Education, Resilient Communities and Economic Mobility: HERE.
“Today we are launching our most ambitious community campaign to date. Half a million households are in, or just one paycheck away from, poverty and with these numbers ever rising, it is United Way’s mission to connect people who need help with people who can help,” said Symeria Hudson, president and CEO of United Way Miami. “What drives us forward every day are the stories of how our work has positively impacted more than 187,000 individuals annually.”
To address these growing needs, United Way Miami invests in more than 100 programs through more than 60 partner agencies and leads 17 additional initiatives throughout Miami-Dade. Below is a glimpse of how the Core Four elevates lives and the impact United Way Miami has made this past year:
