United Way MISSION UNITED Warrior Moms Drive-thru Baby Shower celebration
Last month, United Way MISSION UNITED, in partnership with the Miami Dolphins Football UNITES™ program, hosted a drive-thru baby shower for 70 veteran soon-to-be moms. Warrior moms were showered with love, appreciation, and gift baskets filled with baby essentials. Thank you to our partners, sponsors, and volunteers who made this day special for the brave women who served our country.
Cruise for a Cause - now more ships, more nights, and more dates!
United Way Miami and Virgin Voyages have teamed up to launch Cruise for a Cause to build a stronger Miami, together. For a limited time, a cruise for two is available on board either the Scarlet Lady or the Valiant Lady by purchasing a cabin through United Way Miami.

TelevisaUnivision
On October 14, TelevisaUnivision staff volunteers assembled over 200 care packages for families affected by Hurricane Ian. The packages included essential items such as LED flashlights, water bottles, and personal hygiene items. The kits were delivered to our community partner, Global Empowerment Mission, which had a team on the ground with established distribution points to ensure those in need received them.
Emergency response continues to be an important part of the work at United Way Miami. For that reason, we would like to thank TelevisaUnivision for their support in helping those impacted on the Southwest of Florida and Caribbean recover and rebuild after a crisis.
