Day of service brings together volunteer leaders Our giving community volunteers came together last month to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and celebrate Black History Month through a volunteer project. Our day of service benefitted our longtime partner, Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida, which is celebrating its centennial year. United Way volunteers joined forces in the beautification of Camp Mahachee to build a safe and welcoming place for students and faculty to thrive.

M-DCPS raises more than $1.2 million for our community Last month we brought together more than 300 students, teachers, administrators and staff from Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) to celebrate the 2022-23 United Way Miami community fundraising campaign. The month-long campaign, which was held in October, raised more than $1.2 million to support over 100 United Way Miami-funded programs working to ensure everyone has access to quality education and the opportunity to live healthy and financially secure lives.
