 Day of Service at Easterseals South Florida brings together over 100 volunteers United Way Miami volunteers came together to celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and Black History Month through a day of service in partnership with Easterseals South Florida to renovate its older adult and children center. 
2022 Outstanding Volunteer Nominations Volunteers are our heroes and the backbone of United Way. Help us honor these awe-inspiring individuals who open their hearts and give so selflessly of themselves to make our community a better place.  Free tax prep assistance When it comes to doing taxes, most of us just know the basics. Many forgo valuable tax benefits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Child Tax Credit because we simply don’t know any better. Miami Tax Pros will be offering free tax preparation assistance through virtual, drop-off and in-person methods through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to qualifying families and individuals. Professional, IRS-certified preparers are ready to help keep more money in your pocket.  Get ready for the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run It’s back! "Downtown Miami's Largest Office Party" is on April 28. Gather your colleagues, sign up your team, and join us for the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run and support United Way Miami, the official nonprofit beneficiary for the race.  Join us at VeritageMiami's Craft Beer Tasting A convivial gathering at the picturesque and trendy, Wynwood Walls featuring two dozen breweries including nearly all the great local craft producers plus others from around the country. To make the beer even better, they will be accompanied by a dozen popular South Florida restaurants will be dishing up bites to pair with the brews. This is a great way to spend a balmy Thursday night outdoors in Miami for a good cause, supporting the community efforts of United Way.
 Canopy Roofing is a local business and proud member of Small Business United. One of their core values is “together we solve” and that’s exactly what they are doing through their partnership with United Way. This past Leaders Day of Action the Canopy Roofing team rolled up their sleeves to build a vegetable garden in Little River for our Leaders Day of Action in October 2021.
