As we near the end of the fiscal year, I look back on all we have accomplished with such a sense of pride. I appreciate you – our staff, volunteers and Board members – more than I can express in this message. Heading into our next cycle, I know we will remain more focused than ever on elevating United Way Miami to new heights.
We kicked off our year-long centennial celebration in April, and the outpouring of love and support from the community has been overwhelming in the best possible way. Seeing United Way Miami's impact over the past century is truly awe-inspiring.
With our next century upon us, we look to build on our great foundation as we enter a new horizon of innovation and solutions. I am pleased to share that we have already made a significant stride in this new journey with UpSkill Miami's expansion into the aviation field. Individuals will receive training and employment in this leading industry through our new partnership with the Barrington Irving Technical Training School (BITTS). This expansion is a testament to our unwavering commitment to empowering residents and continuing to build a stronger Miami for all.
Once again, thank you for your commitment and dedication to our mission.
