We are pleased to invite you to Tocqueville Talks with guest speaker, Dr. Wesley A. Fisher, for his presentation: The Holocaust and Cultural Genocide: Collections Throughout the World of Unclaimed “Heirless” Art Looted by the Nazis and Their Allies.

Dr. Fisher is the Director of Research for the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany (Claims Conference) and the World Jewish Restitution Organization (WJRO) – where he heads the Looted Art and Cultural Property Initiative which works with governments, museums, libraries, archives and other repositories of artworks and Judaica in cooperation with Jewish communities worldwide to encourage provenance research and claims processes worldwide. Previously, he was also a senior member of the founding staff of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) in Washington, D.C. and a Columbia University professor.
