United Way of Miami-Dade continues to monitor Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The safety of our community is our number one priority, therefore United Way of Miami-Dade is canceling or rescheduling all March events and continues to monitor the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). United Way staff is in contact with the Office of the Mayor of Miami-Dade County, the Emergency Operations Center and local and state health officials to determine how we should proceed with events in April and beyond.

Based on what we know about this evolving situation, and following the guidance of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), we have enhanced our housekeeping protocols and increased the availability of hand sanitizers and informational posters throughout the shared and private spaces of our complex.

Additionally, we are working to support our funded partners and to assess the needs of the community we serve, and are ready to provide assistance in a variety of areas.

In the meantime, there will be a number of local volunteer needs. To view and register, visit www.VolunteerMiami.org.
