United Way Miami Back-to-School Drive

United Way Miami joined sponsors and volunteers to assemble backpacks filled with essential school supplies for more than 1,000 children and families across Miami-Dade County. With back-to-school supplies costing families up to $150 per child, the annual initiative helps ease the financial burden and ensures students begin the new school year prepared, confident and ready to learn. The backpack drive supports United Way Miami’s Blueprint for Impact, its five-year strategy to improve educational outcomes, economic mobility and health and wellbeing throughout the community.
