TAP Pinning Ceremony

United Way Miami’s UpSkill initiative is proud to partner with the Teacher Accelerator Program (TAP) to remove barriers for aspiring educators. By providing accelerated preparation, mentoring and financial support, TAP creates a pathway for talented people to enter classrooms where they’re needed most. Last year, 150 teachers graduated through this partnership. Today, we celebrate 200 additional educators entering the profession – and by the fall, these graduates will be placed in either Miami-Dade County Public Schools or a charter school.
