United Way of Miami-Dade is celebrating National Volunteer Week April 17 – 24. The week is filled with various virtual and local opportunities for volunteers like you to celebrate with us!
VolunteerMiami Day | Saturday, April 24, 2021 | Shifts: 8 am, 10 am, and 2 pm
As part of National Volunteer Week and culminating on our 97th anniversary, United Way of Miami-Dade welcomes your support in helping over 500 local families in need access critical resources for everyday life.
Donate: Help us raise funds through our crowdfunding efforts for early literacy kits for children, hygiene kits for young women, hurricane preparedness kits and non-perishable food packs for families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Volunteer: Members of the community are also welcome to participate in a packing opportunity at our United Way campus on April 24.
Leaders Day of Action | Saturday, April 17, 2021
Members of Tocqueville Society, Women United, Men United, Young Leaders, LINC and Small Business United are coming together at a distance to revitalize a community garden, upgrade a multipurpose room into a meditation and yoga sanctuary and update the lobby at Belafonte TACOLCY Center. They will plant, paint and lend some love to one of our city’s most active resource centers for children and families. This event is exclusive to United Way giving community members.
