“Community involvement has always been a part of my life. At a young age my parents instilled in me the desire to help better the lives of as many people as possible. Becoming a Young Leader with United Way has been an enriching experience for me, as it has allowed me to increase my connection to the community even further.

United Way has given me a multi-faceted opportunity to engage with the community and like-minded individuals. Not only have I been able to give my time and assistance as an active volunteer, but I’ve been offered many other ways to be involved. I give at a Young Leader level, and actively participate with Women United. Aside from giving back, I also enjoy the social aspect of the organization; the Luncheon with Leaders series and Happy Hour for a Cause events have given me the opportunity to network and meet new friends!”
