Miami’s most influential and successful women will celebrate philanthropy and service to community at the Women United Breakfast on February 22, 2019. Held at the Watsco Center at the University of Miami, it will be presented by Leslie Miller Saiontz and family and feature Indra Nooyi, former chairman and CEO of PepsiCo. Mother and daughter duo, Alicia Cervera Lamadrid and Alicia Lamadrid Paysse, will serve as co-chairs of the exclusive breakfast.
Nooyi is a wife and mother of two – and the epitome of success. During her 20-year tenure at PepsiCo, Nooyi directed the company’s global strategy and led its restructuring to diversify its restaurants into the successful YUM! Brands, Inc. She also led the acquisition of Tropicana and the merger with Quaker Oats that brought the vital Quaker and Gatorade businesses to PepsiCo, the merger with PepsiCo’s anchor bottlers, and the acquisition of Wimm-Bill-Dann, the largest international acquisition in PepsiCo’s history.
Nooyi turned PepsiCo into one of the most successful food and beverage companies in the world, with nearly $63 billion in annual net revenue. She has been consistently ranked among the world’s most powerful women by Forbes and Fortune magazines.
