As Veterans Day approaches, we are reminded of those who fought for us. This month, our United Way Mission United is commemorating the holiday, with a month chock-full of events for veterans and their families.
More than 520,000 households are struggling to make ends meet in Miami-Dade. Because of this, tough choices are made every day, and staying up to date with medications can be a difficult task. Through our partnership with FamilyWize, over 150,000 members of the community have saved more than $15 million on prescription medications.
Over the last year, together with our partner agencies and members of our community like you, we directly impacted the lives of more than 100,000 of our friends and neighbors.
