On April 24, our United Way celebrated 95 years of building a stronger Miami with a day of service. Employees and local volunteers contributed their time throughout the day with six of our original partner agencies in different areas of our community. You can view photos from the festivities here.
Volunteers and United Way staff worked together to create meaningful change in our community through a variety of rewarding volunteer opportunities. Together, we did a little bit of everything. We read to children, built baskets for new moms, served hot meals, participated in a morning of yoga with seniors, built electric circuits with children and created care packages for veterans. And this is just the beginning.
As we continue to celebrate our 95 years of impact and service throughout our anniversary year, we invite you to join our 9500 for 95 Challenge. Aimed at commemorating our 95-year milestone, this challenge is an opportunity for the community to come together and build a stronger Miami by participating in volunteer events that make a difference in our community.
Join the fight. Give an hour. Give a day. Volunteer today.
