Ensure our community gets its fair share of federal funds and representation in Congress
The census serves as the basis for distributing $675 billion in federal assistance for schools, hospitals, fire departments, roads, early education and health programs, and so much more.
The census helps determine where to build new schools, hospitals and businesses, the distribution of federal dollars and how seats in Congress are apportioned.
